“Our future is great.” So said Delta’s executives as they presented their strategic vision to investors. It’s a vision filled with optimism, underpinned by expectations of demand staying strong and supply staying low. The airline is earning double-digit profit margins again, allowing it to repay debt, invest in new planes, and support big increases in employee pay, especially for pilots.
